  1. Hi Ian, how does a local business or entrepreneur use user-generated content when they are a one-man show? I often wonder that when I read a lot of that on Instagram. Thank you for any input or light you can shed on it.
    (I’m thinking rely on ads more in that case…)

    • I would mention that if you are a one-person show, and you’ve built a loyal following, you become a brand and you can ask your fans to share content. Use your hashtags. Submit posts for a contest, etc. Or let’s say you are a consultant. Maybe look at asking people to submit a post about why they need your marketing services. Then give away a certain number of hours to the best response. You obviously don’t make money on the giveaway, but you do gain some significant brand exposure through word of mouth.
