You are not alone in chasing SERPs. According to recent statistics, there are almost 1.70 billion websites and counting, many of which are inevitably seeking attention from the same target audience as you.
Those seeking the attention of your target audience (including many who aren’t even direct competitors) are looking to rank for the same keywords as you. If you don’t have a solid SEO strategy, with the right tools in place, you will ultimately struggle to rank for desired keywords.
So, what is the solution? What should you be doing to rank higher, smarter and faster? Use SEO tools to make your strategy more efficient and effective.
We decided to help you cut the search so that you can get to doing what you do best – taking care of your business!
Five Best SEO Tools to Boost SERP Rankings
We’ve ranked 6 of our favorite SEO tools. Take a look and decide for yourself which is the best fit for your business.
The brainchild of Rand Fishkin, Moz, is one of the best SEO rankings tools in the market. It lets you find keywords, turn them into great posts, and then analyze the results – with suggestions for improvements and great insights into so many important SEO factors. You can even find backlinks of your competitors, learn about keyword difficulty, and gain info about the number of keywords a website is ranking on.
Using Moz is a breeze. Even if you are a newbie, you can quickly learn about Moz in a short amount of time. If you are a total beginner looking to get into digital marketing or even if you are a seasoned pro, Moz is a great tool.
Tim Soulo’s Ahrefs has all the bells and whistles that Moz offers. Moz and Ahref are two of the best products available to the SEO community. Ahrefs is fast, easy, and it comes with a better UX design than Moz – just my humble opinion (sorry, Moz!).
Ahrefs does almost the same things that Moz does. However, where you get an edge in Ahrefs is its free backlink tool. Ahrefs also offers a ton of videos for learning about SEO and much more, making it easy to learn and eliminating the harsh learning curve with other tools.
We personally love KWFinder. Why? Because it is a lot cheaper than Ahrefs and Moz. KWFinder isn’t a complete SEO package, so you will have to use another tool with it for gap analysis, competitor analysis, and checking on your backlink profile. If you want to do SEO on a budget, however, this tool is for you.
KWfinder offers three free searches. However, you can start using it for as low as $40 per month to benefit from all of its features. KWFinder also comes with a decent UX, so you can be sure to find everything in the right place. What makes it better from the rest is that you can easily find keyword difficulty using KWFinder. And when we say keyword difficulty, we mean that its keyword difficulty is much more precise than the rest.
SEMRush is a world in itself, and if you are a beginner, you can easily get lost in it. So, use SEMRush when you are familiar with other marketing tools. You can use it for competitive analysis, backlinks, keyword opportunities and future keyword position predictions.
SEMRush also provides insights for paid marketers who would like to rank for various positions. Moreover, you can use it for content writing.
How can we forget UberSuggest when working with SEO tools? For those who lean toward the thrifty side or who are short on a marketing budget, use UberSuggest for their keyword marketing strategies. UberSuggest is a complete package – it offers competition analysis, backlinks, gap analysis and keyword difficulty. So, with UberSuggest, you get all – KWfinder, Ahrefs, and Moz, all in a single package.
However, since it is free, you can’t rely on it for precision. You may still have to buy a paid SEO tool for precision marketing and rankings in search results.
Last but not least, we have SERPRobot. It is an excellent tool for anyone who is launching their first website and would like to analyze their keyword positions. You may say that the Search Console does precisely the same thing. Well, the search console doesn’t show exact data for each keyword, and it isn’t very easy for beginners. SERPRobot does the opposite. You can quickly check every keyword on a single page available on the dashboard. It is not free, though, so you will have to buy the premium version for complete features.
Which SEO Tool to Use?
A difficult question to answer! You can use any one of these SEO tools to rock your WordPress website because all offer more or less the same features. SEO experts will each tend to have a favorite of their own. So, just start with one and then try each one of them to learn which one will suit you best. Stick with the one that you think is serving your SERP marketing purposes efficiently.
