Every e-commerce store owner wishes to get qualified leads that can turn into sales and profit. Not many succeed in doing so, however.

Obviously these are major, well-recognized brands, but even new e-commerce store owners can create buzz through listicle articles.

  1. Long-tail keywords in blogs

More and more searches are performed via mobile devices, resulting in more semantic searches. To account for this, you need to consider long-tail keywords. 

Craft your content to account more for people rather than just for crawlers. By incorporating long-tail keywords into your product descriptions and other content, you can drive tons of organic traffic to your site to more exact searches and capture more mobile searches. 

  1. Create Lead Magnets

Creating more lead magnets can be a great way to bring people back to your store if they have left it. For example, if you are selling general items like toys, electronics and other items that people would purchase during the holidays, creating something like a Christmas guidebook would be a great lead magnet that can grab email addresses and move people into your communication flow.

Simply create and ebook and with a nicely designed cover to entice more downloads.

Offer ideas for Christmas shopping, decor, and other elements of the holiday and add some value for those who download the piece. As they download the content, they move into your email communication, through which you can target deals and discounts during the holiday season and throughout the year.

You can do this same thing with holidays, seasons, themes and more.

Facebook algorithms love video content. This helps your content reach more people and grab higher numbers of views and impressions.

Once you have that set up, you need to run an ad on social media and create a list of those people.

Then create a lookalike campaign for these people. Where 1000 people visited your website, the lookalike will provide you with a list of 10,000 people who have similar interests.

These will cost less because Facebook will not have to search for matches.

In simple terms, Facebook won’t have to do much work except showing your ads to similar users.

  1. Cash back or Referral Offers Work Wonders

Let’s say you start offering 10% cash back on shopping for more than $100.

Now, anyone buying products above $90 would likely want to buy products above $100 so that they can get a $10 cash back, right? That’s how you increase your order volume.

Another great tactic is referral marketing. You can give another offer to the customers by saying that if they refer someone through the unique referral code, they are going to get $5 in their account.
