With the new year quickly approaching, it’s time to start thinking about your marketing strategy in 2023.
With so much technological advancement happening in the world of digital marketing, it can be difficult to know what you need to focus on for the upcoming year.
To help you out, here are three strategies that you should consider exploring in 2023.
Voice Search Optimization
With the increasing popularity of virtual assistants like Alexa and Google Home, voice search is becoming an increasingly important part of digital marketing.
To keep up with this trend, ensure your website is optimized for voice search by using long-tail keywords and natural language phrases instead of short keywords or keyword phrases.
That way, when people use voice search to find your business, they’ll be more likely to find you at the top of the results page.
AI Technology
Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly changing how businesses operate across multiple industries — and marketing is no different.
AI technology can help automate specific tasks within your marketing strategy, such as content creation, customer segmentation, personalization, and campaign optimization — helping you get more out of your budget while also providing better insights into customer behavior and preferences.
AI is even slowly infiltrating the film industry. Here’s a great video on the future impact of AI on film production.
Video Content
Video content has been steadily growing over the past few years — and that’s not likely to change anytime soon.
From explainer videos to live streaming events, video content provides a unique opportunity for businesses to connect with their customers on a deeper level while providing valuable information in a fun and engaging way.
To maximize its effectiveness, try incorporating video into other areas of your marketing strategy, such as email campaigns or social media posts.
Be Ready to Rock 2023
2023 is shaping up to be an exciting year for digital marketers!
With advances in AI technology and a growing emphasis on video content, there are plenty of opportunities for businesses to explore new strategies that will help them stand out from their competitors in the new year.
To stay ahead of the curve, keep an eye out for emerging trends like voice search optimization and incorporating AI into your existing marketing efforts.
Doing so will ensure you can take full advantage of these new opportunities next year!

Video content will continue to take off Anthony. I uploaded my latest YouTube Short roughly 2 hours before publishing this comment. The video already generated 1,500 views; I do not even have a big subscriber base. YouTube continues to push my Shorts to the main short feed or perhaps via a Short search; not sure where, or how, but I keep uploading and my lowest views are still 50 to 100 for most which totally outclasses my longer form videos. Virtually all of this Short surge is organic. I promote nothing from YouTube. Keep publishing those shorts in 2023, guys. People and YouTube love ’em.
Hey, Ryan. We’ve love to see the content! Feel free to drop the link here. You do some great work via video. Video is such an important medium. I need to do more myself. I do video with others as the host, or we do video for clients, but it’s in the works to do some video production for AnthonyGaenzle.com and GaenzleMarketing.com.
